Reids' Harvest House: A Festive Buffet Experience in Chester, IL

Reid's is one of my absolute favorite places to eat at! The food is always so comforting and everyone is so friendly. Be sure to stop by if you want a good home cooked meal!

We got here at least once a month, have lived around the area most of my life but just recently the past 4 years have became a frequent visitor to this establishment. Good price, foods always fresh and the desserts are always amazing. One of the only places the Texas Sheet cake reminds me of ones I had back in Texas.

The buffet had a great selection of food, the meatloaf was excellent, the ribs literally fell off the bone, the fish was fried to perfection and the salad bar had a wonderful assortment of choices, I was very surprised to see cooked beets on the buffet ( they were good) definitely worth the drive, holiday prices are less than 11$ for all you can eat

We went around 3 pm on a Saturday so the food was not as fresh as usual, but still good. Our waitress was great!!

This was our second visit here. We arrived at 11am. They were transitioning from breakfast buffet to lunch buffet and that happened around 11:10. The fried chicken was outstanding. Also had very good pulled pork and my wife liked the fried fish. Salad was fresh. There are lots of choices. Our was stress was very attentive. The dining rooms do seem run down.

We stopped for the breakfast buffet this morning and it was very good! The staff was friendly and helpful. Drinks stayed full. I recommend this restaurant and can’t wait until we are back in the area.

We love this place! This was the first buffet my kids ever ate at, and we always stop here for lunch on our way to Owensboro, KY. The food is super fresh and the service is friendly. Their yeast rolls and catfish nuggets are the best! We highly recommend this place if you are in Chester, IL.

. The atmosphere inside is spacious seating and a cozy hometown feeling. All the staff we're pleasant and cordial.
